Greece, England, Scotland & Wales

While visiting Europe to speak at an event in Greece, I diverted to Britain for a week.

It was a great honor to be invited to speak at TEDx Athens. This was one of the largest TEDx events in the world and it seemed appropriate for me to be there, especially considering that the theme was "The Art of Disruption" After about 3 days in Athens, I flew to London and met up with a whole bunch of my storm chasing friends who regularly come to the U.S. to chase tornadoes. Over the next week, I rented a car and drove all over. I wish I had more time to stay and see more, but I tried to pack in as much as I could in the short time I had. Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way. It was a great trip.

While in Scotland, a powerful, historic storm slammed the coast bringing rain, snow and extremely high winds. One weather station on a mountaintop measured a gust of 165 mph!
